Transfer from hotel (unescorted, driver only) to the Mpumalanga region.

JOHANNESBURG - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

After freshening up at lodge enter the world famous Kruger National Park and spend the afternoon game viewing in an open safari vehicle. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. [Dinner]

Day Two

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

The day begins with an early morning coffee or tea, followed by a thrilling open-vehicle safari (with English speaking game ranger) through the Kruger National Park with a pre-packed breakfast. Your guide will endeavour to spoil you with sightings of the Big 5, general game and prolific bird life. Stop at one of the rest camps for lunch (for own account). Spend the remainder of the afternoon game viewing.  Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. [Breakfast Pack, Dinner]

Day Three

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK - JOHANNESBURG

Enjoy breakfast before starting the return journey to Johannesburg. Arrive in Johannesburg in the early evening at approximately 18h30 (unescorted) where the tour ends on arrival. [Breakfast]

Umbhaba Eco Lodge

Umbhaba Eco Lodge is situated just 1 km outside Hazyview on the R40, between Hazyview and White River. Surrounded by natural, indigenous bush including the Umbhaba Tree (Lowveld Chestnut) after which the lodge is named. The lodge is built among stunning dams and water features, overlooking the Sabie valley in the distance. Abundant bird life and the most beautiful sunsets, making it the perfect location for a sundowner after an amazing safari in the Kruger National Park. Umbhaba Eco Lodge is only 15 km to Numbi & Phabeni gate, allowing one to enter and exit at different gates. This greatly increases your chances of seeing abundant wildlife in different vegetation zones and offers a variation in scenery.
