Your colourful journey starts in Cape Town! Spend four nights at the luxurious Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, including one dinner. Explore the sights, sounds and tastes of the vibrant Mother City. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy a Springbok Atlas Tours & Safaris Cape Peninsula guided tour.

Time for relaxation and rejuvenation at the foothills of the majestic Cederberg Mountains… A 3 hour road transfer will take you to the magnificent Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve for a 3 night stay. Activities included are nature drives, guided rock art excursions and botanical walks, as well as a private dining experience.

Next you fly from Cape Town to Durban for a comfortable 3 night stay at The Oyster Box. This beautiful hotel is located on Umhlanga’s beachfront with magnificent views of the Indian Ocean and the iconic lighthouse. On one of the nights you’ll enjoy their delectable curry buffet.

Your last two nights are spent at Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge located on a private concession within the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve. Spend your days exploring this unique reserve on morning and evening game drives. The lodge offers a game-viewing experience of note!

Day One

You will be met and transferred to Twelve Apostles and Spa, Cape Town’s award-winning 5 star boutique hotel. Embraced by nature, the hotel is located a mere 15 minutes from the city centre and perched on one of the most scenic routes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a delectable dinner for two. Day Two

After breakfast you will be collected for a Springbok Atlas Tours & Safaris guided tour of the Cape Peninsula. The scenic drive will take you to the south western tip of the Cape Peninsula. Meander along the Atlantic coast to Hout Bay where you can take an optional boat trip to Duiker Island (for own account & time permitting) to see the Cape Fur Seals. Next we travel to the Cape Point Nature Reserve with its abundant fauna and flora. We continue along False Bay with a stop at historic Simons Town to visit the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach (for own account) passing the village Fish Hoek and seaside Muizenberg.  Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens is next before returning to Cape Town. Day Three & Day Four

Spend your next two days at leisure. You’ll have ample time to visit the sites of the Mother City at your own pace – from Table Mountain to Robben Island, Long Street to Kloof Street and galleries to museums. Reminisce about the day’s events over a cup of coffee or a delightful meal accompanied by a glass of award-winning South African wine, of course! The V&A Waterfront offers an array of shopping opportunities, as well as exciting activities such as sunset cruises and helicopter flips. Take some time out at your hotel by booking a rejuvenating spa treatment at the hotel’s celebrated spa, or simply relax next to the swimming pool.  Overnight at Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa. [B]

Day Five

A road transfer will take you to the luxurious Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve located at the foothills of the Cederberg Mountains, about 3 hours from Cape Town. This ecological haven offers tranquillity amongst sandstone formations, bush art painting sites and an abundance of flora and fauna. When travelling during season, the fields will be adorned with a multitude of colours as the wildflowers come into bloom. Overnight at Bushmans Kloof. [BLD]

Day Six & Day Seven

A variety of enriching and exhilarating lodge activities will keep your days filled with excitement. Embark on nature drives, guided rock art excursions, botanical walks, canoeing, hiking and swimming, or merely relax and take in your spectacular surroundings! Day Eight

It’s time to bid the Cederberg farewell and head back to Cape Town for your flight to Durban, a coastal city in South Africa’s province of KwaZulu-Natal well-known for its warm Indian Ocean, tropical climate, Indian curry meals. The Oyster Box, located on Umhlanga’s beachfront and overlooking the iconic lighthouse, will welcome you for a 3 night stay. Overnight at The Oyster Box. [BD]

Day Nine & Day Ten

Enjoy two full days to explore the vibrancy of Durban and its surrounds! With so much to do and see, remember to make time to enjoy the exquisite location and amenities of your world-renowned hotel too. Head towards the city and consider joining a walking tour of city to enjoy its inner beauty and interesting markets. The aromas of spice will fill the air and tempt you to try a classic Bunny Chow (a loaf of bread filled with curry). Grab an ice-cream along the popular Golden Mile, play Godzilla in the fun Mini Town, and explore the underwater world at uShaka Marine World. Enjoy a curry buffet at the hotel one evening. Day Eleven

After breakfast an approximate 3.5 hour road transfer will take you to the oldest proclaimed nature reserve in Africa— Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve—for a two night stay at Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge, ideally located in the park’s first private concession. Embark on an afternoon game drive experience with professional guides. Overnight at Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge. [BLD]

Day Twelve

Early morning tea, coffee, rusks & fruit will start your day on the deck before setting off on a morning game drive in search of Africa’s spectacular wildlife. Return to the lodge for a scrumptious breakfast before enjoying time off, relaxing in the pool and soaking up the dazzling scenery. High tea is served in the early afternoon followed by another afternoon game drive with sundowner break. The afternoon game drive runs into the early evening so you’ll have the opportunity to see some of the magnificent nocturnal creatures roaming the area. Day Thirteen

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, return to King Shaka International Airport by road for your onward journey. [B]
